The Mind Body Detox weekend has been curated to help reset habits formed over the festive period that will last past January. Naturopathically a full detox is better to do in the Spring rather than in the colder months, however January is a good time to reset ourselves with interventions support detoxification, that are gentle on the system and are easy to maintain long term. No dieting I promise or unrealistic goal setting. No sense of deprivation either! The purpose of this retreat will be to bring you deep relaxation and renewed vitality ready to take on 2020!
“I recently attended one of Karen’s retreats and it was hands down one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Inspiring, calming, relaxing and nurturing – just what I needed after a prolonged period of stress! I went feeling lost, stressed and frazzled and left feeling calm and like I knew my path. ” – Sam, past retreat guest
The retreat will include:
4 nutrition talks by myself: why we need to support our liver; foods to help rid us of that fat round the middle; foods to balance our hormones; abundant energy foods.
A revitialising vinyasa yoga session in the woodland yurt.
A guided meditation to help us set new intentions for 2020, also set in the woodland yurt.
A 5 course vegan tasting menu held on the Saturday night (with a revitalising botanical cocktail or two!!).
There will be a masseuse on hand should you want a treatment.
A welcome goodie bag full of treats featuring some of my favoruite wellness brands.
You can opt to do as little or as much as you like- it’s your Retreat so you might just want to recline in the conservatory and read a book! Tilton House is a wonderful space, once owned by John Maynard Keynes and his wife, both part of the Bloomsbury set; Charleston is two lanes away! There is a fire pit should the weather allow us to sit out and do some moon bathing plus a cedar wood sauna in the grounds.
